Worship
8:30 a.m. Sundays At 8:30 a.m., our Traditional Worship Service consists of Liturgy and Hymns from the Lutheran Worship Hymnal. The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month. If you can not attend our Traditional Worship, but live in the Van Wert area, our service is recorded and replayed on both radio 1220 WERT & 99.7 FM WKSD, from 9:30 am - 10:30 am. Please tune in and listen to The Lutheran Hour of Worship as we share the Redeeming love of Jesus.
10:45 a.m. Sundays At 10:45 a.m. on Sunday morning, Redeemer's Contemporary Worship Service is held. It is more of a praise and worship service, which offers upbeat music in a less formal atmosphere. The Sacrament of Holy Communion is also celebrated on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month. The vision of our Contemporary Service is to be able to bring more people to know Jesus Christ by using different worship formats. If you wish, there is a staffed nursery available.
